Slick 360 Shocky - Field report

Flying-wise, the Slick 360 from Amewi / Finest Composite is really great. The Slick 360 can be flown both 3D in confined spaces and classic. The rolling characteristics are super fast and it flies really agile.
The Slick 360 can be flown in light wind, in stronger wind it does not work anymore, the glider is too light for that. This Shocky was built by me on lightweight construction. In my case the Slick weighs 115g without battery. I used Spektrum A3040 servos for the ailerons. For rudder and elevator I used the Spektrum A2020.

The material is absolutely superb and has a very high strength. The material cannot be torn, but it can be bent super well and is therefore almost indestructible. Lighter crashes don't really affect the plane, as the material also allows this.
The print quality is absolutely perfect, the colours were captured super and it looks like it was printed like a photo. The quality of the print on the material is absolutely high and the colours are strong.

The design was perfectly adapted to me. Thank you very much again. This is not a matter of course and available everywhere, but it is at Amewi Trade e.K. and Finest Composite.
As motor I used the Volta 2204 / 2200 KV from Amewi, this has power without end, the flight times are with a 2S 450mAh battery at about 6 minutes. The Hobbywing Skywalker 12A supplied by Amewi was used as the controller. The response and throttle control are perfect with this motor / controller combo!

Building is relatively quick, as all the CFRP rods are already deflected to fit, the building instructions (in German) for this are also super signposted and easy to understand.
The Shocky is also offered in a complete set, which is perfectly matched. The battery and receiver are only needed in addition.
The perfect flyer for Corona time, it's great to fly in your own garden or meadow. I have a lot of fun with the Slick360!
