Full metal excavator V4 white in the exclusive Amewi Edition

Already when unpacking, the quality and the extensive accessories included catch the eye. In contrast to version 3, this top model in the exclusive V4 Amewi Edition also comes with the larger version in addition to the normal shovel bucket. In addition, this noble version comes with a wooden grab and a hammer drill. The workmanship and the look are very good and the whole product looks very coherent.



What are the new features in version 3? A lot has changed here, and to say it in advance: all functions, the quality and also the look have become significantly better.
The changes in detail: improved, more stable electronics. The buttons for the limit switch are no longer built into the arms, but the switch-off is now electronic. The gearing of the metal slewing ring has been changed. A gearbox with helical gearing now works here, which allows much smoother movements. The control is also more sensitive than in the previous version. On the whole, the V4 version is currently the best model in this series on the market!

First test outdoors with all functions including sound and smoke switched on: Today I "kidnapped" the model to our construction site to see what it could do. After a short time it became clear that the performance has increased in many points compared to the predecessor. The V4 version is much more sensitive to control in the outriggers and due to the metal gears I also have the feeling that it has increased in power. Due to the Euro control of the transmitter (like a real excavator, all functions of the outriggers are controlled by the 2 transmitter sticks), I quickly felt confident in controlling the machine and earthworks were really fun! With the standard large, new bucket (significantly more loading volume than its predecessor), it was possible to dig respectable holes quite quickly. On somewhat harder ground, the supplied hammer drill was used to loosen the soil. (The hammer drill is operated via the small round buttons next to the left control lever on the transmitter and connected to the front arm of the excavator via a jack plug. The part also has real power and loosens even harder soils without any problems. The driving functions are located on the front buttons on the transmitter (which, by the way, looks really great in the black rubberised design). These buttons can be used to go forwards, backwards, turn on the spot and each side can also be controlled individually. The driving functions are not proportional, but this is not a problem at the very low basic speed. Due to the high dead weight, the model is very good off-road in combination with the metal tracks, the powerful motors and the multi-stage gearbox. Even normal slopes are no obstacle. The model in conjunction with the supplied timber grapple is ideal for loading timber transporters.



Conclusion:
A real fun model with a super scope of delivery and due to the exclusivity an absolute bargain. All components work together excellently and the possible uses of this full metal excavator are almost unlimited. In combination with the white 1:14 wheel loader (item no.: 22416) in part metal and the professional Mercedes Arocs licence tipper in white (item no.: 22413), which is also exclusively distributed by Amewi, you can quickly set up a real fleet here. Since all systems are supplied with an interference-free 2.4GHz transmitter system, you can also use all models at the same time.
Another advantage of these three models is that you all use the same battery! The scope of delivery of each model from this series also includes a matching USB charging cable.
